What can I mark?
Anything. A tea, a coffee, a hello, a zero. The four verticals and a slash work for whatever you want to remember together. The point is the chat, the ledger is the excuse.
How do I sign in?
Enter your email and we send a one-time code, so there's no password to forget. Or use Sign in with Apple or Google if you'd rather. Your email is just how we recognise you across devices; nothing else.
How do I add a friend?
Every account gets a public handle like @fletch-7k2x. Share yours with a mate, or tap their profile link to send a friend request. Once they accept, you're connected. To pull mates straight into a specific tally, share its QR code from inside the app, and anyone who scans it lands directly in that game.
Is it on iPad or Android?
iPhone only for now. We wanted to get one platform right before splitting our attention. iPad and Android aren't off the table, just not now.
How much does it cost?
Free to download and free to use. No ads, no tracking, no in-app upsells.
What happens if I delete my account?
You can delete it from inside the app. For 30 days you can sign back in with the same email to restore it, which is handy if you change your mind. After that, your identifying details (email, handle, name) are permanently scrubbed. The marks themselves stay attached to the (now anonymous) account so the tallies your friends are in don't fall apart. Want a complete wipe beyond that? Email hello@gettally.co.uk.
What about my photos?
Witness photos you attach to a mark are stored privately and auto-delete after 90 days. The full retention story is in the privacy policy.
