THE PINT BECAME A STAT.
Beermaxxing (noun, internet): making a sport of your beer time. Counting pints, keeping score with your mates, and treating the pub like a league. From the same slang family as sleepmaxxing and looksmaxxing, and taken exactly as seriously.
The internet finally gave counting pints a name. Fine by us: Tally. has been the beer counter for the group chat since day one. One shared score, four verticals and a slash, forfeits included.

What is beermaxxing?
Internet slang from the -maxxing family, cousins with sleepmaxxing and looksmaxxing. Beermaxxing means making a sport of your beer time: counting pints, keeping score with mates, collecting the stories that go with them. Tongue firmly in cheek. Half the internet spells it beer maxing; the ledger accepts both.
Is Tally. a beer counting app?
Tally. is a shared tally counter for iPhone. Point it at anything: beers, teas, coffees, gym sessions. You and your mates keep one running count with forfeits on the line, so yes, it makes a very good beer counter.
How is this different from Untappd?

Can I beermaxx without the beer?
Absolutely. Zeros are marks too. Plenty of tallies are races to 1K teas or alcohol-free streaks. The scoreboard counts whatever you put in front of it.
